WILD LIFE CONSERVATION
Besides preventing deforestation, we encourage the people living in the tea gardens to reduce conflict with wildlife, so that the elephants and other wild animals can have a free movement along their usual paths, and can also have access to the water bodies.
CARE FOR OUR WORKERS
Besides producing the finest teas, it is our equal endeavour to work towards the betterment of our workers, providing them primary necessities like medical, educational & general facilities. For the local communities that have lived and worked in the gardens for generations, tea is not just their job, it has evolved to be a part of their tradition and culture. For the workers, the gardens have become a system that takes care of their education & healthcare requirements in the best possible way. Workers receive adequate compensation for their local area and enjoy safe working conditions.

We provide subsidized food grains, housing facilities, and other long-term benefits to garden workers.
WATER
We ensure that the garden workers and their families have access to clean drinking water.
HEALTH
Our fully functional hospitals cater to the healthcare needs of the garden workers.
EDUCATION
Our well-equipped schools provide free or subsidized education to the children of the garden workers.
BABY CRECHE
The gardens have mobile crèches for infants so that they can be taken care of, while their mothers are plucking leaves in the garden.
SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING
There is no greater joy than coexisting in harmony with earth, especially when our teas are the reason behind it. Making a shift towards sustainability in our lifestyles is the need of the hour and Octavius Tea is implementing its share for an eco-conscious environment by offering sustainable packaging in their every product category. Octavius is committed to recycling and keeps that in mind while designing packaging. Due to their waste-free processing, Octavius saves thousands of trees every year. A lot of our packaging are compostable.

Use the remnant waste of your used tea bags and loose tea to create
manure which can act as a great organic fertilizer for your plants.
